HPC Workshop 2026: Large Scale Scientific Computations
The workshop aims to introduce large-scale scientific computations using parallel processing techniques. It is addressed to postgraduate students, PhD candidates, and researchers working on scientific computing problems that require high computational power and memory resources.
The training is primarily hands-on and focuses on the practical implementation of parallel algorithms.
Topics Covered
- MPI for distributed memory parallelization
- OpenMP for shared memory parallelization
- CUDA for GPU programming
Prerequisite Knowledge
- Basic familiarity with Linux
- Programming experience (C or FORTRAN preferred)
