Computational Biomechanics

Computational Biomechanics

Spring Semester

This course focuses on the application of computational methods to study biological phenomena and biomedical problems. We present numerical techniques (finite element and finite difference methods) using MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics. Topics include biofluidics, biomaterials, and nanobiomechanics. The course also covers models of cellular and molecular processes including tumor growth and genetic networks.
